Child Nurture And Relief (CHINAR) is focused on empowerment of "Orphans, Vulnerable Children & Marginalized Youth" in conflict areas through Education and Socioeconomic Initiatives. Currently we are running programs in Kashmir, India with a vision to expand to other parts of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India and the world.

The Name Chinar:

Not only is CHINAR an abbreviation for Child Nurture And Relief, it's also a huge tree that is an integral part of Kashmiri tradition and is found in almost every village in the valley. CHINAR's can grow up to a height of 100 ft. with a girth of up to 40 ft. and can live as long as 500 years.
